Should Noynoy stop smoking?

Senator Noynoy Aquino is being criticized left and right because he hasn’t stopped smoking. He said later on in an interview that he hopes that people will let him keep that one tiny freedom. Should Noynoy Aquino stop smoking? Absolutely. But it should be on his terms and his own time. If you try to ram this down his throat he’ll probably just fake it or it might even affect his decision making capabilities once he’s President, lol.

I genuinely hope though that he knows that smoking is bad and that it can cause damage to himself and to those around him.

Quitting will surely stress him even more. He already is, given that he’s already considered by most as the President-Elect. It should note worthy that withdrawal is hard. Para ‘yang pag-inom or caffeine. If you these away from an alcoholic or caffeine junkie, it’ll affect his well-being. In this case, nicotine ang suspect. He could take into consideration that there are alternatives for smoking.. Nicotine gum is one substitute. Sana ma-realize nang mga tao na hindi basta basta ang mag-quit sa isang bisyo na nakasanayan na. Calling for unrealistic expectations is just naivety and not actual concern for his well-being.
