This album was posted on Facebook by Gerald Magno. It basically has several movie posters but instead of the Hollywood stars an artist edited in and put in the pictures of the candidates in 2010. Really interesting and funny stuff! Hopefully these pictures will put a smile on your face. We definitely need light moments now more than ever.

Here’s my personal favorite. First poster shows Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas in the Martin-Gary poster. Second is the Twilight poster but it now has Chiz and Loren.

Next up we have former President Estrada being “dragged back to jail” by Senator Lacson:

Earlier this year, Senator Panfilo Lacson announced in a press conference that he would no longer seek the highest position in the land due to budget concerns. This was immediately after the news broke out that Mancao was coming back to Manila as a witness against Lacson for the Dacer double murder case. A lot of people thought that the fight to keep his freedom would drain his funds and would damage his credibility so he opted not to run anymore for President. Today, Senator Lacson revealed that he’s considering running for the Vice-Presidency since it will cost considerably less and that he can still push for his vision for the country should he win.

MANILA, Philippines — After withdrawing his presidential bid, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson is now considering to run for vice president.

Lacson said at least two potential presidential bets have been talking to him though no formal offer yet had been made. He refused to identify the two.

“No formal offer. Let’s say you are one of those being considered,” Lacson told reporters Tuesday.

Asked if he was considering the idea of joining the May 2010 race, Lacson said, “Not seriously, but I’m open to the idea.”

Initially, the senator wanted to run for president in 2010. But citing a lack of fund to bankroll his campaign, Lacson withdrew his presidential bid.

Running for vice president is less expensive than campaigning for the presidency, he said. This way also, Lacson said he was hoping he could still pursue his visions for the country.

What’s interesting to guess at is who those two Presidential aspirants are who he mentioned that were courting him to be their running mate. As of today, we haven’t seen solid tandems yet for any party. We’ve only been getting rumors so far about the following:

Liberal Party VP Candidates: Noynoy Aquino & Kiko Pangilinan
Nacionalista Party Candidates: De Castro
NPC: Loren or Chiz (depends on who slides down to VP)

Note that no one above has made the formal declaration yet to run for their party for VP. Senator Pangilinan revealed a few months ago that he would run but didn’t say that he would do it with the Liberal Party together with Senator Mar Roxas.
